Visual Stream

These images are generated on the screen of a computer which controls the Shockbot Corejulio – creating short circuits in the hardware of the computer itself.

The power interruptions produced by these short circuits are interpreted by the computer as input data and create an uncontrollable stream of images. To save the images just before the computer crashes and reproduce this creation faithfully the images are stored and printed in large format, then displayed behind acrylic glass and backlit with LEDs.
